The Qigong Resilience Training Provides:
The goal of the Training is to teach various applications of Qigong and Mindfulness techniques in a clinical setting to improve resilience and quality of care.
Wisdom Healing Qigong is an ancient system of mindful movements, healing sounds and guided meditations that increases the capacity for self-awareness and presence.
You will learn specific Mindfulness and Qigong techniques to:
- Improve well-being and inner resilience: Qigong and mindfulness practices quiet the mind, help promote inner stillness and promote well-being.
- Strengthen the therapeutic relationship: by enhancing self-awareness and nurturing self-compassion when interacting with patients.
Qigong and mindfulness practices taught in the workshops help to counteract stress and fatigue and balance the practitioner's energy.
Why Attend the Qigong Resilience Training?
.
To address professional dissatisfaction, disconnection with patients, our colleagues and ourselves and prevent compassion fatigue.
The increasing pace and complexity of the health care system combined with a heavy patient load and daily witness of patients' suffering add to the pressures of providing good care. Professional dissatisfaction, fatigue and sometimes burnout may result. We can learn techniques that prevent burnout and improve our inner resilience.
